The NCCRA was co-founded by NBC Today show co-anchor Katie Couric, anti-cancer fund raiser Lily Tartikoff, and the Entertainment Industry Foundation. Cancer Care Ontario Cancer Care Ontario is a Government of Ontario agency. Its stated vision is "To lessen the growing burden of cancer in Ontario by ensuring that all Ontario residents have timely, equitable access to an integrated system of excellent, coordinated and efficient programs in prevention, early detection, care, education and research." The National Cancer Institute of Canada The National Cancer Institute of Canada acts in concert with its partner the Canadian Cancer Society, and with the Terry Fox Foundation, to provide support for cancer research and related programs undertaken at Canadian universities, hospitals and other research institutions. The Canadian Association of Gastroenterology The Canadian Association of Gastroenterology promotes the study of the digestive tract in health and in disease. CAG members are actively involved in research, education and patient care in all areas of digestive health and disease, including establishing screening guidelines.
