An American organization that was founded with the twin goals of raising awareness of the seriousness of colorectal cancer and increasing the number of people receiving preventive testing for colorectal cancer; as well as raising funds for those scientists doing the best cutting-edge research throughout the United States. The NCCRA was co-founded by NBC Today show co-anchor Katie Couric, anti-cancer fund raiser Lily Tartikoff, and the Entertainment Industry Foundation.

Cancer Care Ontario is a Government of Ontario agency. Its stated vision is "To lessen the growing burden of cancer in Ontario by ensuring that all Ontario residents have timely, equitable access to an integrated system of excellent, coordinated and efficient programs in prevention, early detection, care, education and research."
